Limited Edition Bourgeois JOMT Redhead - Redwood Top - Walnut Back & Sides

Bourgeois Guitars $5,590.00 $4,995.00

The Bourgeois JOMT Redhead is an amazingly beautiful limited edition instrument with detailed custom appointments and master artisan craftsmanship at a relatively affordable price. Handmade in Lewiston, Maine by Dana Bourgeois and his fantastic crew this instrument is tastefully designed. It is easy to get lost in the details of this beauty.

One of the first things that one might notice about this guitar is the beautiful redwood top. Redwood has a beautiful warmth to the tone. On the back and sides this instrument features super straight grain walnut with just a thin line of sapwood at the center stripe. Walnut too has a round, warm tone. Together with the redwood and Dana's unique top voicing technique this guitar has a bold, lush tone whose depths beg to be explored.

Along with the premium tone woods, this instrument has exquisite details. The guitar gets its name from the bright red cocobolo headstock overlay. Looking at the binding one may notice that it is cocobolo as-well!

Besides the tone, our favorite feature of this instrument is the rosette. The lines weave over and under each other reminiscent of a Celtic knot or an infinity symbol. Either way that you look at it, it is a striking optical art aesthetic and will be sure to mesmerize you while you pick and pluck away.

Last point of detail we want  to mention is the fret markers. On first glance you may think they are a common marker, but this instrument features small metal rings marking the usual fret positions. I find between the unique rosette and these futuristic fret markers this guitar has a classic but also slightly avant-garde vibe about it.

The JOMT comes with a deluxe Bourgeois hard shell case.
