Things are always changing here at Northern Lights Music. We've been receiving more and more vintage instruments. Come take a look at the Gibson Vintage case and the Fender Vintage case the next time you're in the store!
Carr Amps are here! How about a little snap to your sound? We have the Carr Rambler in alligator. Santa Cruz Guitars are also here! We visited the factory out in California and made friends with the very personable owner Richard Hoover who showed us around the shop. He's got a great stash of 70 year old wood that he will be using for our guitars. This guy is passionate about his guitar building and it shows!
We are also carrying the American made and affordable Big Muddy Mandolins and Boutique JHS effects pedals.
The 35th anniversary Taylor Guitars are here including the original "Lemon Grove" team built guitars. We have had one each of the master grade Brazilian guitars in grand auditorium, grand symphony, baritone, 8 string baritone and dreadnaught. Only 35 of each style were built.
We are also happy to offer the Fall Limiteds in Gloss Indian Rosewood.
Last summer Northern Lights Music sponsored the James Montgomery Blues Band at the Colonial Theater in Bethlehem in June.
This summer were happy to sponsor the legendary Bluesman John Hammond. The power went out during the concert but John kept on playing his National in the dark! Richard Smith and Julie Adams returned to an appreciative audience onSunday, August 22nd. The location this time around was at the Weathervane Theatre in Whitefield,NH, http://www.weathervanetheatre.org. As always,it's great to be being able to support the music scene up here in the North Country.
Be sure to go on the homepage and sign up to receive our periodic email announcements of workshops and news.

Testimonials
Hello Dan,
I was at Northern Lights last month and purchased an R Taylor style 2. I just wanted to drop you a note and tell you how much I appreciated the great deal you gave me. I am thoroughly enjoying my guitar and play it every day. These are tough times for many small businesses but I am confident things will pick-up soon. I enjoyed my visit and passed along information about my positive experience with others on the Acoustic Guitar Forum. I'm not that far away so I will be sure to visit again in the future. Those new Taylors are calling my name. I also really liked the NS72 you had for sale. Once again, thanks so much for the positive experience as it was the highlight of my vacation.
Cheers

Hi Dan,
The guitar is phenomenal!! I have never seen a guitar that looks as good as this one (and I've been in a lot of shops!). Those that have seen it so far go through the same jaw-dropping scenario. It's kind of funny, they have so much reverence for it, they won't pick it up and play it.
And, speaking of playing -- It plays and sounds like a Steinway! The wider neck and shorter scale are clearly the right combination for me. Thanks again for all your help in ordering it.
Clif,
Vermont
PS: Thanks again for the humidifier and strap.
Hi Dan,
I love my new Taylor!!!
I kind of wish I had bought one sooner. Not only does it sound amazing by its self, but it also sounds amazing plugged into a pa. It sounds natural and real!
This guitar makes me want to play.
Thanks again
JD
